Phelcom is a startup that unites technology and health. We create portable, connected and wearable devices with the purpose of democratizing access, offering more, with less and more people.

Eyer is the first product of the company and it aims to help combat severe visual impairment and blindness worldwide, which affects more than 250 million people and occurs in more than 75% of cases due to lack of prevention and correct treatment.

Experience in Anvisa and Inmetro certification processes for regulated market products. COO and cofounder of Phelcom.

Diego Lencione
Graduation in physics and master in optics applied from USP. Experience of more than 10 years of developing optical imaging and illumination systems for medical, defense, aerospace and high resolution microscopy. CTO cofounder of Phelcom.

Dr. Paulo Schor
Physician graduated from FMRP-USP. He completed his Medical Residency in Ophthalmology at the same institution and his Master, Doctorate and Full Professor from UNIFESP. He completed a PhD at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he also served as Visiting Professor. He is currently the Research Coordinator of the Postgraduate and Research Department of UNIFESP, having been the last Head of the Department of Ophthalmology and Professor of the Postgraduate Course of the Department of Ophthalmology of UNIFESP. He works in the area of Medicine, with emphasis in Bioengineering, Physiological Optics, Refractive Surgery and Visual Perception.

Technical Training Scholarship – Embedded Hardware

Fapesp TT5 – R$ 7,174.40 net – 40 hours per week
Minimal requirements
Graduation on IT with five years of experience or doctoral degree in IT, enthusiasm to learn and advanced knowledge in embedded software development for image processing, device drivers, low level routines and Linux.

Technical Training Scholarship – Computer Vision

Fapesp TT5 – R$ 7,174.40 net – 40 hours per week

Graduation in IT with five years of experience or doctoral degree
in IT, enthusiasm for learning and advanced knowledge in computer vision and machine learning.

Internship in Administration

R$ 1,400 monthly – 30h weekly
Minimum requirements
Attending business administration or related courses. Domain Office suite, familiarity with G Suite tools, basic English, organization, pro-activity and dynamism.
